La date en anglais : différences anglais britannique et américain

Quand on prend des cours d'anglais, il convient d'apprendre à dire la date, et cela commence avec les jours de la semaine, les mois et les ordinaux.

Pour former la date, il y a deux méthodes dépendantes du pays dans lequel nous sommes : il y a une façon britannique et une façon américaine.

À l'oral, on lit généralement : Monday, the fourteenth of June two twenty-three.
Dire la date à l'oral (pour l'année) :
La règle la plus courante --> généralement, on coupe la date en 2 éléments.
19 | 69 = nineteen sixty-nine
SAUF à partir de l'an 2000 : à partir de cette année-là, on lit la date comme un nombre ordinaire :
- ANGLAIS BRITANNIQUE : 2004 = two thousand AND four
- ANGLAIS AMERICAIN : 2004 = two thousand four
