Throughout my experience teaching classes I have realised that each student have different needs, that is why knowing the student's concerns, their abilities and weaknesses is very important, in order to be able to generate a work plan tailored to each student.

In my classes I like to mainly address 3 axes: Theory, Technique and of course the playing! Which is the most important thing. Sometimes musicians tend to spend a lot of time deciphering technical exercises, studying theory or analyzing the music of someone we admire, which, although it is very important, my focus is to be able to apply those concepts and techniques that we are working on as soon as possible. It seems fundamental to me to be able to actually play music from class number 1!

I declare myself a big fan of technology and everything that is a potential help to our development as artists, that is why I use different tools to make our classes a much more dynamic and fun experience. From my studio setup, with professional audio and video, different video call platforms like Zoom, Skype, integrated with OBS, to tools like Soundslice to generate videos with live score/tab, music writing software like Finale or Sibelius, apps that help our practice like Ireal or Transcribe!, and much more!

Finally, I would like to say that as a teacher, regardless of the number of years of experience one has, one will always learn and discover new ways of teaching when meeting new students. So we have to stay open and humble to be better teachers.
