I use short passages and books to teach basic vocabulary and pronunciation (Grammar is implicit) and more complex books to improve your English skills if you have an intermediate level.

My reading and writing program is a 30-minute online session that includes a warmup game, a strategy explanation, a short book to practice, and a closure time to go over the new vocabulary and/or decoded words.

In each reading block you learn strategies to improve both, reading fluency and reading comprehension skills.

In the writing block you start with basic phrases to more complex sentences. Then, you learn the story elements and move forward to your own story writing.
