Leela Gaunt

I’m Leela and I teach French up to Level standard. I am currently completing my masters at a french drama school, so I am fluent in the language. I am a creative and engaging tutor, and have experience with teaching in schools, both at primary and secondary level as well as with tutoring.
I also specialise in ADHD learning.
I am very adaptable to whatever the student’s learning style may be so my lessons will be tailored to you!
For my language lessons, I cover speaking, listening, reading and writing. I create my own worksheets as well as using curriculum approved worksheets for whatever level you are studying at. I like to use games and fun video and audio resources to better stimulate the students learning, and for the younger students, singing can be a very helpful tool!
Because of my experience in theatre, I often use role-play exercises during speaking practice as I find this a great way to gain confidence in conversational french.
I am well accustomed to the British curriculum and have 3 years experience teaching students from KS1 up to Alevel, as well as adults wanting to learn the language!
I pride myself on meeting students at their level, and making the learning experience an enjoyable one.
I have my GCSE and Alevel in french, but as I have lived here I am fluent in the language.
