Alfredo Van De Munt

Hello! I’m Alfredo, a professional classical pianist and experienced piano teacher. I believe that learning the piano should be both enjoyable and rewarding, while also giving students the right foundations to grow as musicians.

My lessons are adapted to each student individually. Whether you are completely new to the piano, returning to it after some time, or looking to develop your playing further, I aim to create a friendly and encouraging environment where you can feel comfortable learning at your own pace.

I work with students of different ages and levels, and I particularly enjoy helping students become more confident at the piano. Lessons can include technique, musical expression, sight-reading, rhythm and understanding the music, but I always try to make these elements practical and connected to the music the student is actually playing.

As a professional performer, I bring my experience from the concert stage into my teaching. I hold a Master’s degree in Performance from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and have performed at venues including the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and BOZAR in Brussels.

Most importantly, I want my students to enjoy making music. I’m patient, approachable and happy to adapt my teaching to what motivates each individual student. Whether your goal is simply to play for pleasure, prepare for an exam or develop your skills seriously, I would be delighted to help you along the way.
