My name is Maud and I’m a native French teacher from Lyon with over 20 years of experience. I’ve been teaching French since 2004 and also work as a professional translator in the film industry. For 12 years I taught Theatre at the International French School in Rio de Janeiro where I developed a creative, immersive and structured approach to language learning.

I now teach online students from the UK, US and Canada, offering high-quality French lessons to English, Portuguese and Spanish speakers of all levels, from complete beginners (A1) to advanced learners (C2).

I work with adults who are learning French for travel, work, pleasure or relocation, as well as with teenagers preparing for school exams. I provide specialised support for GCSE, A Level, IB French, as well as official language diplomas such as DELF, DALF and TCF. I'm familiar with the UK curriculum and adapt lessons to the specific exam requirements when needed.

Whether you want to improve your pronunciation, grammar, speaking fluency, writing skills or cultural understanding, I tailor each lesson to your level, needs and goals. I combine clarity, structure and flexibility, always supporting my students with patience, encouragement and consistency.
